SimCrest Average Stock Calculator is an easy-to-use add-on enabling you to maintain inventory levels based on historical usage without complicating the process. This add-on requires very little setup and is very streamlined in data and anaylysis. rnrnDesigned to complement Dynamics NAV, Average Stock Calculator enables purchasing managers to make the right decisions on when to order, what to order, and how much to order from vendors based on historical average usage of items and Stock Keeping Units (SKUs).rnrnIn standard Microsoft Dynamics NAV, demand prediction is calculated based on current supply and demand, but there is no way to also look back historically and see how many, on average, have been sold in the past, or do a forecast for future sales. All of this has to be done with manual setups at each item/SKU level, but SimCrest Average Stock Calculator automates the manual work for you and allows you to predict future demand in both ways.
